TRAININGS

Finding the right information is frequently difficult; this may be especially true when working to better educate and understand the children's mental health system. All families desire relevant and appropriate information when learning to advocate for their child(ren) and their family. It is our desire to produce helpful, applicable information on the topics families and providers deem the most basic, fundamental, and critical in the children's mental health field.

We eagerly work to provide and develop training and workshops on a wide variety of topics all designed to empower, engage, and educate families, youth, and providers.

Our workshops cover a variety of topics such as: Respite Care, Meaningful Youth Involvement, Improving Parent Involvement in the IEP Process, Safety Plan Training, Sibshops, A Parent's Guide to the Juvenile Justice System, and Making Treatment Count.

Workshops are held on a scheduled basis and are free for families and youth; take a look at our calendar to see what is happening in your region.

Provider trainings which offer CEU's will have a cost associated with registration. Non-Profit and Business memberships are available and may assist with these costs, please go to our Membership page or call our office to learn more about these membership benefits. This membership assistance does not include conference registration.

Are you a trainer or educator? Do you have a workshop that would benefit youth and/or families? Or do you have a specific topic you would like to learn about? Call our office at (208) 433-8845.
