WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY!
We would like to welcome an exciting addition to our staff; Bill Elvey, recently hired on as our Program Director, is a refreshing burst of enthusiasm and is eager to further the Federation's mission.
Congratulations to the Federation!
It is with great pleasure that we notify you all that we have been selected as a winner of the 2009 Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility in the greater Boise area!
Many Thanks!!
We are very grateful to the following foundations for their generous contributions: Gladys E Langroise Advised Fund in the Idaho Community Foundation and the Kissler Family Foundation Philanthropic Gift Fund in the Idaho Community Foundation.
Seeking Respite Care Providers:
The current lack of respite care providers statewide has produced a critical need. We are searching for people who already care deeply about children. Can you extend your compassion to families with special needs children? Call us at 1-800-905-3436.
New Parent Networking Group in Region IV!
This is a great opportunity to join parents from around the Treasure Valley! This group will take place at The Flicks (646 Fulton Street); the 3rd Wednesday of each month @ 7:30pm - 8:30pm in Boise. Please call our office for more information.
Art from the Heart: World Through Our Words
Last summer we had much success in our repeat of Art from the Heart: The World Through Our Words poetry project. Selected poems have been published in the 'Words That Hurt. Words That Heal book.'
New Business Members!
The Federation proudly welcomes the following new business members: Intermountain Hospital; Four Rivers Mental Health; Portneuf Valley Family Center; Community Partnerships of Idaho, Inc.; and Kootenai Behavioral Health Center.
